Delete Your Account

This page explains how to request deletion of your Fria account and associated data. Fria is developed by Cognova Ventures Ltd.

How to Request Account Deletion

To request deletion of your Fria account and associated data, please follow these steps:

  1. Send an email to hellonourishclinic@gmail.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request"
  2. Include the email address associated with your Fria account in the body of the email
  3. We will verify your identity and process your request within 30 days
  4. You will receive a confirmation email once your account and data have been deleted

Data Stored on Our Servers

When you request account deletion, the following data stored on our servers will be permanently deleted:

  • Your account profile information (name, email address)
  • Your in-app activity and progress data
  • Your journal entries and personal notes
  • Your app preferences and settings
  • Your identifiable quiz responses (including data shared with our analytics provider, provided data was stored within the last 180 days)
  • Any other personal data you have provided within the app

Data Stored on Your Device

Some data is stored locally on your device. To delete this data, you can:

  • Clear all progress within the app settings
  • Delete your account within the app
  • Uninstall/delete the Fria app from your device

Data That May Be Retained

Certain data may be retained for a limited period after account deletion for the following reasons:

  • Transaction records: If you made a payment, we are required to retain transaction records for tax and accounting purposes. This includes the date and amount of payment, but not your personal app data.
  • Anonymised analytics: Aggregated, anonymised data that cannot be used to identify you may be retained for service improvement purposes.
  • Legal requirements: Data may be retained if required by law or to protect our legal rights.
  • Third-party AI services: Chat data shared with our AI provider is anonymised by default (we do not automatically share your name or account details). This data is subject to their retention policies. At the time of writing (January 2025), OpenAI retains API data for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring, then deletes it. Processing Time

Account deletion requests are typically processed within 30 days. You will receive email confirmation once the deletion is complete. During this period, your account will be deactivated and you will not be able to access the app.
